The will directs human actions toward desired goals and values, and it is responsible for acts of love, virtue, and self-determination. The will is closely connected to the conscience and plays a central role in moral and spiritual growth.

Memory (or Memory and Imagination): Memory is the faculty of the soul that retains and recalls past experiences, knowledge, and impressions. It allows humans to store information, learn from past events, and make connections between past and present. Memory also includes the faculty of imagination, which enables creative thinking, visualization, and the formation of mental images and concepts. Memory facilitates learning, reflection, and the development of personal identity and narrative.

These Three Powers of the Soul are considered essential aspects of human nature and are integral to human cognition, emotion, and behavior. They interact and complement each other, shaping human consciousness and influencing how individuals perceive, think, feel, and act in the world.
