Litany of the Crown of Thorns

Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.

God the Father of Heaven,
Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world,
Have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit,
Have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, One God,
Have mercy on us.

Jesus, who wore the Crown of Thorns for our salvation,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who bore the weight of our sins upon Your sacred head,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, whose brow was pierced for love of us,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, whose sacred head was crowned with suffering and scorn,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, whose sacred head was wounded by the thorns,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who suffered the humiliation of the crown of thorns,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who wore the crown of thorns as a sign of Your love for us,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who endured the crown of thorns for our redemption,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, whose head bled for our sins,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who endured the crown of thorns so that we might be healed,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who endured the crown of thorns for our sanctification,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, whose pain in the crown of thorns is a symbol of Your great love for us,
Have mercy on us.
Jesus, who was crowned with thorns, the King of all creation,
Have mercy on us.

Behold the Lamb of God,
Who takes away the sins of the world.
Behold the King who reigns from the Cross,
Who takes away the sins of the world.
Behold the King crowned with thorns,
Who takes away the sins of the world.

Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
Spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
Graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world,
Have mercy on us.

Let us pray:
O Jesus, who wore the Crown of Thorns for our salvation, grant us the grace to remember Your great sacrifice, that we may imitate Your humility and love. Through Your suffering, may we find healing, peace, and strength to follow You more faithfully. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

This Litany reflects on the deep suffering and love of Jesus as He bore the Crown of Thorns for our redemption. It is a prayer of reflection on His pain, His humility, and the healing He offers through His sacrifice. Let me know if you'd like more prayers or reflections on this theme.
