Thought for the Day
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." – Jeremiah 29:11
God has a vision for each of us—a unique and beautiful plan for who we are meant to become. He sees the good within us, the potential for holiness, love, and service that we might not see in ourselves. Our challenge is to remain faithful to that vision, striving daily to live in a way that aligns with His will. Though we may falter, God's hope in us never fades, and His grace is always there to guide us back.
Meditation for the Day
Take time to reflect on the person God is calling you to be. What virtues or qualities has He placed on your heart to grow in? Where are you struggling to live up to His vision for you? Imagine God looking at you with love, not disappointment, urging you forward with gentle encouragement.
Even when we fall short, God does not abandon His plan for us. Instead, He patiently invites us to try again, offering His grace through prayer, the sacraments, and the support of others.
Action Step:
- Spend a few moments in prayer, asking God to reveal one specific step you can take today to live closer to His vision for you.
- Commit to an act of self-improvement—whether it’s extending forgiveness, practicing patience, or offering kindness to someone in need.
