  5. Kindness: A disposition to be gentle, considerate, and helpful towards others.
  6. Goodness: Moral integrity and the desire to do what is right and just.
  7. Generosity: A readiness to give freely of one’s time, talent, and treasure to benefit others.
  8. Gentleness: A mild and tender approach in dealing with others, avoiding harshness and severity.
  9. Faithfulness: Loyalty and steadfastness in one’s relationship with God and in fulfilling one's duties and commitments.
  10. Modesty: Humility and decency in behaviour, speech, and dress, reflecting respect for oneself and others.
  11. Self-Control: The ability to control one's desires, emotions, and impulses, aligning them with God’s will.

Biblical and Traditional Sources

  • Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
  • Additional Traditional Fruits: The Church traditionally adds generosity, modesty, and chastity to the list found in Galatians.

These fruits represent the qualities that should be evident in the life of a believer who is living under the guidance and influence of the Holy Spirit. They are signs of a transformed life and a growing relationship with God.
