Thought for the Day
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." – John 14:12
In the same way Christ performed great works through His divine power, we, too, are called to do greater works. These works are not accomplished by our strength alone, but by the grace and power of God. When we align our lives with His will and open ourselves to His guidance, we become instruments of His love, peace, and justice. Through God's spirit, we can make a difference in the world, bringing about transformation and healing. Remember, we never work alone; God’s presence empowers us every step of the way.
Meditation for the Day
Reflect on how you can become more aware of the opportunities around you to do greater works. These works do not always involve grand gestures but can be found in acts of kindness, service, and love in your daily life. The power to do good comes not from our abilities but from God’s grace working through us. Take a moment to acknowledge God’s power within you.
Ask yourself:
- How can I allow God’s power to work through me today?
- In what ways can I contribute to making the world a better place, knowing that I do not work alone?
Action Step:
- Look for opportunities throughout your day to serve others, knowing that God’s power is behind your actions.
- In each act of kindness, prayer, or service, recognize God’s presence working in and through you to make a positive impact.
