The gift of faith
Holy Martyr St. Sebastian, no greater gift could have been bestowed upon you than the gift of holy faith. Sanctified in holy Baptism, you grew in holiness from your childhood. God so loved you that He made you a pillar of strength in the early Church. Strengthen my faith also, that it may become for me a source of strength for a truly Christian life, and that I too may be a shining example to others.

I resolve to overcome lukewarmness and to give good example to those who deny Christ by neglecting their Christian obligations. Help me, dear Saint, to guide them toward the true joys of Heaven.
