A Voice in the Wilderness
Reflection:
During the Western Schism, when the Church was torn by rival popes, Vincent tirelessly worked to heal division. He traveled on foot, preaching in towns and fields, crying out, โPrepare the way of the Lordโ (Matt 3:3). His mission was to unite hearts under Christโs truth.

The Power of the Cross

Vincent carried a cross in his missions, preaching Christ crucified as the path to salvation. โThe word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of Godโ (1 Cor 1:18). His life mirrored the sacrifice he proclaimed.

The Angel of Judgment
Reflection:
Vincentโs vision of Christ calling him to warn of the Last Judgment fueled his mission. โThe day of the Lord will come like a thiefโ (2 Peter 3:10). Yet he balanced this with mercy, urging souls to repent before it was too late.

His Holy Death
Reflection:
On April 5, 1419, Vincent died in Vannes, France, after years of tireless labor. His last words urged perseverance: โFear God and give Him gloryโ (Rev 14:7). Canonized in 1455, his legacy endures as a call to holiness and repentance.
