Day 1 - March 27

A Call to Preach Repentance

Reflection:
St. Vincent Ferrer was born in 1350 in Valencia, Spain, and entered the Dominican Order at 18. Called the "Angel of the Apocalypse," he preached repentance across Europe with fiery zeal, proclaiming, “The kingdom of God is at hand” (Matt 3:2). His voice awakened souls to turn from sin, trusting in God’s mercy amid a world of turmoil.

I greet you, O Glorious St. Vincent Ferrer, Angel of Judgment, Herald of God’s Mercy, and faithful servant of Christ! I greet you, Wonderworker and Preacher of Truth, Patron of builders, penitents, and those seeking peace in the Church!

Most zealous Saint, inspired by your burning love for souls and your devotion to God’s Word, I humbly turn to you, unworthy as I am, and ask you to obtain for me from Our Lord Jesus Christ the favor I seek in this novena.

Our Father…
Hail Mary…

Obtain for me also, O Angel of the Apocalypse, a deep contrition for my sins and the grace to follow the virtues you so powerfully lived, especially zeal, humility, and trust in divine providence. Above all, I beg you to be my guide and intercessor, to number me among your devoted followers, and to lead me to the heart of Christ from your heavenly throne.

Do not reject my pleas, O Messenger of Mercy! Have pity on me, and uphold me in life and at the hour of my death. Amen.

Day 5 - March 31

The Power of the Cross

Reflection:
Vincent carried a cross in his missions, preaching Christ crucified as the path to salvation. “The word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Cor 1:18). His life mirrored the sacrifice he proclaimed.

Day 6 - April 1

A Life of Austerity

Vincent lived simply—fasting, praying, and traveling on foot—despite his fame. “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily” (Luke 9:23). His humility and penance strengthened his witness to God’s kingdom.

Day 7 - April 2

The Angel of Judgment

Reflection:
Vincent’s vision of Christ calling him to warn of the Last Judgment fueled his mission. “The day of the Lord will come like a thief” (2 Peter 3:10). Yet he balanced this with mercy, urging souls to repent before it was too late.
