You Were Made For This

"Who are these people dressed in white?" - Revelation 7:13

Have you ever looked at the saints and thought - that's not for me? They were so holy, so perfect, so far from my everyday struggles.

Today's feast tells a different story.

That huge crowd in white robes in Revelation - they are not strangers. They are people just like us. People who knew pain, who had flaws, who had to struggle. But they let God love them and change them. And now they are home.

The good news of All Saints Day is this: Sainthood is not just for a chosen few. It is your calling too.

You don't become holy by trying harder on your own. You become holy by letting the Holy Spirit live in you.

It's the Spirit who brought you into God's family at Baptism. It's the Spirit who gently corrects you, who gives you strength to say no to sin, who teaches you to pray when you have no words, and to love when it's difficult.

Holiness is not about being perfect from day one. It's about walking with the Spirit every day. In your kitchen, at your work, in your small daily choices. God wants to make your ordinary life a holy place, because you are His temple.

So don't be discouraged today. God is not looking for your perfection, He is looking for your permission. Say "yes" to the Holy Spirit this morning.

If you do, one day you will be in that crowd too - not because you were amazing, but because God was faithful.

And that is a reason to smile today. You were made to be a saint.
