Descendents: Edward I Longshanks King of England. Edward III Plantagenet, and Edward IV Plantagenet of England.

Biography: Adela was the wife of Count Baldwin IV of Flanders. She was a Benedictine noblewoman. When the count died, she entered the Benedictines, receiving the habit from Pope Alexander II. Adela served as a nun until her death, retiring to the Benedictine convent near Ypres.
