Readings: Philippians 2:12-18 | Psalm 27 | Luke 14:25-33

ONLY ALL IS ENOUGH

"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for God is at work in you." - Philippians 2:12-13

Jesus never pretends following Him is easy. Today He says it clearly - if you want to be My disciple, you must carry your cross, put Me first before everything, and be willing to renounce all that you possess.

It sounds hard because it is. Only all is enough for Jesus, because He gave all for us on the cross.

But here is what makes this call beautiful today. Paul says, "It is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." You are not doing this alone. God gives you the desire and the strength.

That is why we can shine like stars in a twisted world without complaining. The Lord is our light and our salvation - whom shall we fear? St. Charles understood this. He sold everything, even his bed, to serve the sick during the plague.

What is one thing you are holding back from Jesus today? Give Him that. He who asks for all will give you all the grace you need.

Prayer: Lord, be my light today. Help me place You first and give me courage to follow You completely.
