TESTS FOR TRUST

"You cannot serve both God and mammon." - Luke 16:13

Jesus is very clear today - no one can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and money at the same time. One will always win your heart.

How do we know who we are really serving? Jesus says, "If you are faithful in small matters, you will be faithful in large ones." God tests our trust in small things - how we handle money, how we speak, how we keep our word.

Paul shows us what that trust looks like. He says, "I have learned to be content in every circumstance, in plenty and in need. I can do all things in Him who strengthens me." He had learned that God Himself will supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ.

The person who fears the Lord is described in Psalm 112 - merciful, generous to the poor, steady of heart. That is true wealth.

You may be worrying about money or future today. God knows your heart, not just your appearance. Trust Him in the small thing before you today - be honest, be generous, be content - and you will find you are rich in what matters.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You became poor though You were rich. Be my only Master and teach me to be faithful and content in You.
