🌿 Saint Peter Claver

Saint Peter Claver, a Spanish Jesuit priest and missionary, is celebrated for his dedicated ministry to enslaved Africans in Cartagena, Colombia. Known as the "Slave of the Slaves," he tirelessly advocated for their humane treatment and provided them with spiritual and physical care. Here are some Church-approved prayers to honor Saint Peter Claver and seek his intercession:

1. Prayer to Saint Peter Claver

O God, who made Saint Peter Claver a slave of slaves and strengthened him with marvelous charity and patience as he came to their help, grant, through his intercession, that seeking the things of Jesus Christ, we may love our neighbor in deeds and in truth. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
