πΏ Spirit of Wisdom, Saint Sergius was not very intelligent, but he learned to read and write because of a strong desire to study the Bible. He became so learned in the Faith that important rulers sought his advice. People trusted him because of his confidence in You and his love for them. I ask him to pray for all those I know who rely on their intelligence and educational degrees more than they rely on You. Help us to see these as tools You have provided, but also remind us that knowledge of the Faith is accessible to everyone. Teach us what we need to learn through the opportunities of everyday life.
Saint Sergius, Pray for us. Amen.
