Marriage and Conversion: Michelina married into the Metelli family, a prominent family in Pesaro. However, despite her affluent lifestyle, Michelina was deeply moved by the plight of the poor and the sick. She devoted herself to works of charity and regularly visited the sick and needy in her community.

Founding of Hospital and Religious Life: Following the death of her husband, Michelina decided to dedicate her life fully to serving God and the poor. She used her wealth to establish a hospital in Pesaro, where she cared for the sick and destitute with great compassion and tenderness.
